Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Haifa & Transfer to a Druze Village - Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport or Haifa Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to a welcoming Druze village in the Galilee mountains. Settle into your guesthouse and enjoy a traditional Druze welcome dinner with your host family.
Day 2: Daily Life with a Druze Family - Spend the day experiencing daily life with a Druze family. Participate in activities such as preparing meals, harvesting olives (seasonal), learning traditional crafts, or helping with household chores. Gain a deeper understanding of Druze culture and values.
Day 3: Druze Religious & Cultural Exploration - Visit a Druze religious site (Mazar) and learn about the unique beliefs and practices of the Druze faith. Explore the village and meet with local artisans and community leaders.
Day 4: Cooking Workshop & Herbal Medicine - Participate in a hands-on cooking workshop with a Druze chef, learning to prepare traditional dishes using fresh, local ingredients (hosted by עמים וטעמים). Learn about the medicinal properties of local herbs and plants in a workshop led by a Druze herbalist.
Day 5: Farewell & Departure - Enjoy a final breakfast with your host family before transferring to Ben Gurion Airport or Haifa Airport for your departure.
